Diogenes
Diogenes the Cynic was from Sinope and was a philosopher who lived from c. 404 to 323 BCE. He moved from Sinope to Athens although the details of why he moved vary. He was very critical of sophists and lived as a homeless man. One time he carried a lit lamp during the day because he claimed he was trying to find an honest human being.
